Pet Quality Puppy Purchase Agreement

Seller guarantees that the puppy is in good health at the time of transfer and has received age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming prior to placement.

Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving the puppy. Failure to complete this examination voids the health guarantee.

If a veterinarian determines the puppy has a life-threatening illness existing prior to transfer, Seller reserves the right to request a second veterinary opinion.

The puppy’s parents have undergone genetic screening through Embark Veterinary DNA testing. Based on testing available at the time of sale, the puppy has been cleared of known hereditary conditions commonly associated with the Rottweiler breed.

Buyer understands that no breeder can guarantee a dog will never develop future illnesses, injuries, allergies, cancer, orthopedic conditions, or diseases not currently detectable through available testing technology.

This puppy is being sold on AKC Limited Registration as a pet-quality companion. Full AKC Registration and breeding rights are not included in the purchase price.

Full AKC Registration and breeding rights may be considered at Seller’s discretion for an additional fee after evaluation of health testing, temperament, structure, and pedigree suitability.

No breeding is permitted before 24 months of age and without appropriate health certifications including hip, elbow, cardiac, and genetic testing recommended for the Rottweiler breed.

This puppy is sold as a PET QUALITY companion animal and not as a guaranteed show or breeding prospect unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Buyer agrees to provide proper veterinary care, nutrition, exercise, training, socialization, and safe housing for the puppy.

Buyer further agrees the puppy will never be abused, neglected, abandoned, or surrendered to a shelter or rescue organization.

If Buyer can no longer keep the puppy at any time during its life, Seller must be contacted first. Seller reserves the right of first refusal for rehoming or reclaiming the dog.

Buyer agrees to maintain respectful and professional communication with Seller. Good Nature Kennels proudly offers lifetime breeder support regarding health, training, nutrition, and general care guidance for the puppy throughout its life.

Seller makes no guarantees regarding adult size, show quality, breeding ability, working ability, or future temperament once environmental influences occur.
